CTN empowers churches, ministries and NGOs to be a prophetic voice in justice, social transformation, poverty eradication, education, employment, environmental concerns, communal harmony, and city transformation.
- Working with JVI, complete initial survey of existing churches, ministries and NGOs engaged in social justice activity in Chennai and compile in resource directory for CTN membership.
- Working with JVI, complete initial resource survey documenting available professional service providers and other government and private resources available to support and assist churches, ministries and NGOs in social justice work.
- Establish Justice Resource Center to provide ongoing training, technical assistance, funding mobilization, and other resources in collaboration with JVI.
- Forming at least 2 ward level social action and justice committees.
- Meeting 5 churches in EVK Sampath salai /Vepery and conducting one capacity building programme for church volunteer groups.
- Evolve a concrete model of church response to the homeless in two homeless clusters.
- Coming out with training (tng of vol and trainers) manuals for the capacity building programmes and building a team of ten volunteer trainers.
- Etablishing working linkages with Vote India Campaign.
- Creating the programme intervention base for a school outreach programme on value based sexual healeth education programme for teenagers(in the lines of NIRNAY in Mumbai).
